I’ve had several former GameRoom Magazine readers ask me what I’ve been up to recently – and the answer is, not much. I’ve been hunting for a “real job” now that my all-too-brief career in magazine publishing has ended, but mainly I’ve been pursuing other dreams of mine – such as writing a novel.

I’ve got three novels that have perpetually been in various states of completion, but I’ve decided that I’m finally going to finish one. It’s been years since I’ve worked on any of them, so there’s been a lot of “getting back up to speed” with the long-form-fiction-writing process. My mind is still in “magazine article” mode, so I’m going to have to re-train myself a bit.

I’m looking forward to the challenge.
